Practise telling the time on this clock

http://www.wmnet.org.uk/wmnet/custom/files_uploaded/uploaded_resources/503/clock.swf

Try with and without the words.

Look at the digital and analogue clocks to see how they say the time in a different way.

See if you can work out what time it will be in quarter of an hour and half an hour from the time that you have on the clock.

Mrs Hinsley's Spellings Monday 6th December

Singular means only one,

Plural means more than one

You should have learnt the many ways that we make a singular noun into a plural noun.

These are the plurals that we have made this half term. You should have been learning them every week.

You need to remember ‘the rules’ that you have learnt. Say the words and look at them carefully and test yourself.

Week 1
buckets, churches, bushes, pencils, brushes, torches, princesses, spades, foxes, flutes

Week 2
stitches, kisses, watches, buses, dishes, potatoes, dominoes, boxes, witches, patches, wishes, classes

Week 3
firemen, feet, children, women, sheep, mice, teeth, flies, chimneys, lollies, enemies, holidays, daisies

Week 4
wolves, cliffs, chiefs, shelves, calves, loaves, leaves, cuffs, thieves, knives, halves

Week 5
babies, stories, boxes, ponies, days, hats, toys, scarves, leaves, churches
